Things to Do
Parks, beaches, trails, and outdoor adventures on Gabriola Island
Parks & Natural Areas
Gabriola is blessed with three provincial parks, regional parks, and countless natural areas to explore.

Malaspina Galleries
This natural wonder is Gabriola's most iconic landmark. The massive sandstone overhang, stretching 100 metres long and 4 metres high, was sculpted by centuries of wave erosion into a shape resembling a giant frozen wave. The intricate honeycomb patterns (tafoni) covering the rock surface are created by salt crystallization and are truly otherworldly.
